Bio:
Layla, officially designated HARU-A "Layla", is the main heroine of my (stalled) fiction HARU! She is one of several AIs designed by the open-source organization Sector 76 to combat the criminal organization SHINOTO SHINNAOTO (which means "True Sound" in Japanese; it's disguised as a headphone manufacturer, hence the name). Specifically, Layla represents the nightly build of the HARU AI - hence the name Layla, which means "night" in Arabic. As a nightly build, she is much too crash-prone for use in the field, and is therefore restricted to testing purposes, while her stable siblings are regularly sent out on missions. Layla normally acts as if she isn't bothered by this, but she does resent not being entrusted with anything more important than testing new features for future versions of HARU. Since the HARU source code is released under an open-source license, the total number of siblings that Layla has is unknown. However, Sector 76 currently maintains four stable builds, nicknamed Terra, Raine, Storm, and Helen (from oldest to youngest), as well as a fifth beta-stage build named Quinta (who was never mentioned in what little there is of HARU!).
