Description
A simple analog clock made in Inkscape. Plain SVG download (not Inkscape SVG). Enjoy.
Techniques used: This is a rare case in which I didn't use the Bezier curve tool (or as I sometimes confusingly call it, the "path tool"). Most notably, the difference tool was a HUGE help. To get the shiny area, I stuck two circles on top of each other and used the difference tool, resulting in a single, crescent-shaped path. This is not only more precise than drawing out the shape by hand, it saves a whole lot of time and effort.
